
About Nimbus Wind Farm
Nimbus Wind Farm is an 180 MW wind energy facility that is currently under construction in Carroll County, Arkansas. The project has been under development since 2016 by Scout Clean Energy, who will also own and operate it. Nimbus is the result of years of research, planning, and design in close coordination with our landowners partners and Carroll County to ensure the construction and operation of Nimbus is managed with safety as the top priority.
Nimbus is working with local businesses and organizations to foster opportunity in the surrounding community of Carroll County.

All land utilized for Nimbus Wind Farm has been leased to or acquired by the project in voluntary agreements with local landowners that will create revenue streams for them and their families for decades.

While some of the project area requires tree clearing, which is being done by local workers, this represents less than 5 percent of the overall project area.
